FT6 Flame Retardant Cable for Plenum Applications
The fire-rated fixture is equipped with a high-spec FT6 (Plenum) rated cable. This superior flame retardant grade ensures minimal smoke emission and flame spread during a fire event. It is suitable for installation in air-handling spaces (Plenums) and critical fire-rated ceiling assemblies, providing an extra layer of protection for high-occupancy projects.
Maximize project flexibility with the integrated color temperature selector. Contractors can switch between 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K on-site, ensuring the lighting perfectly matches the final interior design while reducing the number of SKUs required for a job.

This fire-rated light is fully compatible with our precision-engineered New Construction Mounting Plates and Hanger Bar Frames. These accessories provide extra stability and accurate positioning during the framing phase, ensuring a consistent and professional finished ceiling layout.

1. Open the hardwire box swing cover and remove the appropriate knockout(s).
Insert the electrical supply cable through the knockout and secure with a cable connector (sold separately).
Using wire nuts.Connect green ground wire of cable to green wire of box. Connect white wire of cable to white wire on box.Connect black wire of cable to black wire on box.
Place all wiring and connections back into box and close the cover. (Fig.1)
2. Select desired color temperature by sliding switch on Power box of unit.(Available CCTs are 2700K,3000K,3500K,4000K,5000K.) (Fig.2)
3. Insert hardwire box through the mounting hole.(Fig.3)
4. Connect the fixture to the hardwire box by inserting and twisting the quick disconnect assembly male/female. (Fig.4)
5. Push spring loaded clips on the fixture upwards and insert fixture through the mountinghole vertically, clips first. Release the clips and fixture will be pulled flush to the ceiling. (Fig.5)
